I had it done one afternoon, never had any pain or problems and I still think it was the responsible thing to do. My partner had been on the pill for a long time and was being advised to come off it so it was this or condoms. No contest.

Had a shocker with mine as while changing the dressing at home the day after, the wound opened up and wouldn't stop bleeding.
Ended up in hospital on a saline drip for the night and had to have them stitched again...

Had it done about 10yrs ago.
No probs was very quick hung around about half hr afterwards we t home all fine.
Bit uncomfortable next day but no pain

When I was a young man my intentions were to freeze my sperm then get the snip so I could go round spunking in young slags as I wished. Then one day I saw the case photos of a bloke who'd had a vasectomy gone wrong (I worked at a law firm). All that was left of his cockwas the helmet, I think he got a million quid in compo. That put laid to my sperm freezing plans.
